Humminbird Update

It’s time to update those units and you’re MEGA Live if you have one. Humminbird rolled out updates to SOLIX (version 4.07), APEX, and Helix (2.75) in early July. These updates included quite a few general fixes, new features for MEGA Live, and compatibility with the new Target Lock. It’s an easy process with either an SD card or using the FishSmart app. Although the last time I tried the FishSmart app it wasn’t doing updates but that was with the previous update.

The latest MEGA Live update version 1.17 includes the Target Lock features but also improves the sonar in general. With each update that has rolled out with MEGA Live the sonar itself is actually improving. You will want to keep an eye out for future updates!
