A Fresh New 2021

Welcome to 2021 and a fresh new look at jeffelliottoutdoors.com. I apologize for my absence on the blogs since midsummer.  But things got crazy busy and I really drug my feet on the website re design. Then hunting season happened and I drug them even more. But here we are with a new look and a new focus for the new year.

I plan on doing a lot more writing this year and kind of making it my thing. I don't have the time or skills to edit a YouTube fishing videos and I'm certainly not giving away any of my mediocre fishing spots in them. That seems to be all the rage now days but it's just not going to work for me right now. What I can do is write and I'd like to start doing more frequent and shorter articles. We will see where it goes but I will definitely have broaden my writing topics to keep that going. I'm sure there will be some slow weeks where nothing gets done but right now I am going to shoot for 1-2 blogs a week. Check back frequently!

I've also switched website companies. I'll have more on that in a minute but first I want to thank Mike and Brandi from Brandirawks Productions. They are the reason I got started in the whole website/blogging thing in the first place and helped push me to work on things I initially wasn't comfortable with. I will forever be grateful for that and all the work they've done through the years with the website, Bustin Sticks, and Dock Talk Radio.  As they move toward semi-retirement from the web world it made sense for me to make a switch as the web workload was about to increase.

Fortunately a good friend and the founder of Reel ‘n Smoke was starting Dead Drift Social. They offer a broad variety of services and lucky for me, one of them is web design. Management, consulting, and everything social media is their bread and butter however. They've got a broad range of clients, but anything outdoors is a bonus because they live that too. I'd encourage you to visit their website and see if there is anything they can do for you!

There are some other blogs posted below on my 2020 deer season and keep an eye out for the last tournament blogs of 2020 soon.
