Bass Workshop This Week - GR Recap
Before I get into anything else I want to give a big thanks to Cy at West Michigan Bass/D&R Sports Trail. During 2021 they experienced some difficulties and getting the trophies for D&R because of some issues with the trophy company. Because of that Trevor and I didn’t get our plaques for the White Lake tournament. I’ve got to give Cy a lot of credit for staying on that company to get us our wood! While that seems like a small thing I can assure you it is not. Winning those events don’t come often or easily and when the stars align and you win one it means a lot. It was great to be surprised with that at the show.
Another Ultimate Sports Show in Grand Rapids has come and gone. Once again, I was up there in the Johnson Outdoors booth (Humminbird, Minn Kota, Cannon). Lots of good conversations about all of our products. I will say I talked to several people who I know from tournaments/social media or whatever. This goes for anyone reading this, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any technical, troubleshooting, or product questions. I’d be happy to take a call, message, or text about it anytime. Humminbird also has some awesome rebates out right now for units + MEGA Live.
Lastly I’m doing a rescheduled electronics seminar this Thursday at the SPI Bass Workshop. Hopefully we won’t get any snow this time and things will go as planned. It is at 6:30 at Buck Creek Church in Wyoming, I hope to see a lot of high school and middle school anglers there. They will have drinks/snacks and some giveways. It should be a good time and there’s a good chance you might learn something.
